Us western yogis have A LOT going on in the lower body. Lots of sitting, driving and shut down expression causes a bunch of tension to acculturate in the hamstrings, hip flexors and pelvis. If you know you’ve got some build up in the hips and hamstrings, this 6 week course is going to give you exactly what you need to feel free in your own body.
The first 3 weeks of this course are dedicated to opening not only the hamstrings but also all the muscles and joints that make up the legs and feet. The second half of the course is where we move into deeper hip opening with a combination of dynamic movement, getting warm and exploring the different psychological and energetic layers of the hip region. Alongside our vinyasa flow we will incorporate yin postures to access the connective tissue around the hip socket.
