Hi, I’m Amanda Noga 

And let me tell you

Ayurveda changed my life. 

The seed was planted within me on a trip to India, during my raw-vegan, shaved head, Ashtangi days. I swapped out my smoothie bowl for porridge, got off the contraceptive pill upon the advice given to me by the Ayurvedic doctor 

and I couldn’t deny how much better I felt  (as much as I wanted to!)

 I started to live a nature based lifestyle, feeling at home in my body and aligning to my dharma. 

Over the last 15 years I’ve been devoted to the path of yoga and ayurveda. I owned an inner city studio, hosted worldwide retreats and teacher trainings, founded Flow Festival and the “for-purpose” project Karma Collab.

All of which I can attribute to the presence of Ayurveda in my life. I’ve had the unique blessing to study with renowned female Ayurveda doctors, in both the traditional apprenticeship style and in formal certifications, which has shaped the woman-centred approach I offer you today.

The biggest takeaway for me is the cycles, especially the Ayurvedic clock.

I loved having the Ayurvedic knowledge (nutrition, cycles, constitutions etc) available alongside the yoga practices. It was so useful to have guidance like: if you enjoyed this yoga practice, you may be interested in learning about... and providing the link = awesome!
I also loved the themes of the yoga practices. Like the 7 sankalpa series, that we also did at the 2016 India retreat.
I still use the altar cards Amanda gave us.
I found it useful to have a variety in yoga practice lengths, as a Mum I’d typically be looking for something between 20-45 mins and it was great to have these options.

Do I need to be a yoga TEACHER?

No. This training is well suited to, but not exclusive to Yoga Teachers. If you are interested in, or practice yoga you will love this training.

do i get certified?

This is not a Ayurvedic practitioner training. If you are actively teaching yoga, this course qualifies as CPD hours with both Yoga Australia and Yoga Alliance. This is a 50 hours course: Yoga Australia requires. 45 hrs additional training within 3 yrs, Yoga Alliance requires 75 hrs within 3 yrs..

What is the time investment?

To get the most benefit and move through all material in a timely fashion, we suggest devoting 1 hour / week to the course.

How long do I have to complete?

The course will run over 6 months, starting from your registration.
